deviantART Helps To Break World Record!A new World Record – thank you deviantArt!
The One Million Masterpiece has officially taken the world record for the most artists creating a single artwork, meaning that it has officially become the world's largest artistic collaboration.
The previous record was set in Brenham, Texas , where 25,297 people contributed to a painting titled A Little Dab of Texas. While the previous record was set over 3 years and 7 months, the One Million Masterpiece members have achieved the record in just 11 months.
The new world record will be announced on Monday 09 July, however as the single largest contributor to the project, the deviantArt commun
Traditional Deviant features Vol.1To my amazement, I am receiving hundreds apon hundreds of DD suggestions for Traditional art. I cant keep up. I am truly overwhelmed by the support the community shows for the good ol' pencil or paint brush. I consider my position of gallery director for this amazing and diverse gallery a huge honor.
With so many DD suggestions, I cant possibly feature every single one I want to. I already have more suggestions than days in the one year I have to be in this position! In an attempt to still expose this massive mountain of skill sitting in my notes folders I am going to do random, deviant features.

Hi folks, this is the second volume of the Children's Illustrators Showcase!
I was very happy to see that lots of you enjoyed the first volume, and I also received a lot of notes with suggestions, thank you! It's a very great support for us, children's illustrators, and also for children's books lovers. We exists to put stars in your eyes, and smiles on your faces.
